What is the Linguistic Input Method Editor (LIME) program? The Linguistic Input Method Editor (LIME) is an intelectual authorization program related to input technology for Charisma Communication Inc. Basically, Charisma is developing the newer input technology of various language which is suitable for multiple platform such as mobile phone, personal computer, PDA, tablet PC, mobile TV and etc. The LIME program is a membership program which allow member companies to be authorized to use the technology developed for the LIME program. The member company just have to maintain their LIME membership and paying relative royalty to Charisma. They will save a lot of research time on the input technology. The technology currently supported is the text input methods for small devices. In the future, more solutions will be added into this propram which will not exlude other methods to input signals into a device.
Charisma is currently supporting multiple platform, multiple language for the LIME program. Therefore, a member company or a member organization has the rights to use the technology based on their membership coverage. For all-language membership, the member company will be able to access all of the supported language and the rights to use any newly added languages. For the language specific membership, the members will have the access to the language packs they subscribe.
The membership is dued based annually. The inital enrollment fee is the principle membership cost. The annual member renewal is very little which just covers our operational costs. If a company does not maintain their proper membership, they will lose their access to our solutions upone the day their membership expires. The usage royalty will be collected based on the units manufactured with the solution by the member company. It is the member company's duty to honestly report their monthly usage of the solution. Delay of reports or reports with wrong number are subject to penalty. The member company have to agree the penaly to join the program. Typically, the penalty will be 10 times the normal usage rate. The membership company will work according to our reporting system.
After enrollment to the membership program, a member CD will be shipped to our member, it will include the solution dictionary and some web-based sample program. It is the member company's responsibility to port it to the proper format for their own platform. If they are not able to do so, Charisma can provide consulting service to the member company. However, this consulting service will be at the member company's cost.

Multilingual Multiplatform Input Systems (© copyright 2005) All of the different language can share the same simple 10-key keypad. The 10 key keypad is available on personal computer, PDA, cellphone, test equipments, blade systems, secutiry control, ATM, setup box, and etc. It is trully portable. As long as a system can have 10-key keypad, the system will be compatible with our solution. As the the difference languages, we just show some samples. Product Versions and Roadmap 
Membership Enrollment and Setup Fee 2. New Model: The member company has the rights to develop the software by themselves. If they request our support to provide the software, there will be a setup fee for ($15000) per model. If the member company develop the software by themselves, there will be no setup fee. If the company request for consulting service beyond the setup, there is be some consulting fee depending on the project size. It is up to negotiation before the project starts.
